THE SUN, EARTH, MOON AND STARS.
Many years ago some
sailors wanted to find new land and food. They sailed the world's widest oceans
in ships. They traveled around the circumference of the earth with the stars as
their map. Finally, they found new places and met new people.
Like the sailors of long ago, we sometimes look at the
night sky to find directions. When the weather is cloudy , we can't see the
stars and have to look at maps. The sun is a star. It looks bigger than the
stars at night because it's much closer to the earth than the other stars.
The moon ia closer to the earth than the sun. The moon
doesn't always look round. It changes shape, and sometimes you can't see it at
all. When you can't see the moon, it;s called a new moon. No one lives on the
moon because there are no lakes, rivers or oceans.
From the moon, the earth looks blue and white. You can
see pieces of land, a lot of blue water, and white clouds that change
directioin with the weather.

Bertahun-tahun
yang lalu beberapa pelaut ingin mencari tanah dan makanan baru. Mereka
mengarungi samudra terluas di dunia dengan kapal. Mereka berkeliling
mengelilingi bumi dengan bintang-bintang sebagai petanya. Akhirnya, mereka
menemukan tempat baru dan bertemu orang baru.
Seperti para pelaut dahulu kala, terkadang kita melihat ke langit malam untuk mencari arah. Saat cuaca mendung, kita tidak bisa melihat bintang dan harus melihat peta. Matahari adalah bintang. Itu terlihat lebih besar dari bintang-bintang pada malam hari karena lebih dekat ke bumi daripada bintang-bintang lainnya.
Bulan lebih dekat ke bumi daripada matahari. Bulan tidak selalu terlihat bulat. Itu berubah bentuk, dan terkadang Anda tidak bisa melihatnya sama sekali. Ketika Anda tidak dapat melihat bulan, itu disebut bulan baru. Tidak ada yang hidup di bulan karena tidak ada danau, sungai, atau samudra.
Dari bulan, bumi tampak biru dan putih. Anda bisa melihat hamparan tanah, banyak air biru, dan awan putih yang berubah searah dengan cuaca.
